Anonymous asked: Hi, I'm from Georgia, and I am currently choosing between TCU and another school on where to go to college. I was just wondering if you could give me your input on why you choose TCU, what's your favorite thing about the school, and also what the social scene is like(Greek system, game days, the fort worth area, etc.). It would be amazing if you could answer some of these questions!

GO FROGS!
I’m so excited to hear that you’re considering TCU as your college! The Horned Frog Family is always looking to expand and add more joy to our campus and alumni. That reason right there is why I strongly encourage you to become a Horned Frog, we’re a family.
I personally decided to come to TCU because it’s a family tradition. My father, uncle, and cousins are all TCU Alumni and I needed to keep up the tradition. But, TCU wasn’t just about my family it was about the the family that was waiting for me in Fort Worth when I began my career as a Frog. I’ve met the best friends, nicest people, and have been given opportunities of a lifetime all because of the love and support that every faculty member, alumni, and student has given me. If you come to TCU, your life will be changed and your sails will be set in the most successful direction you could ever dream of because we’ll all be rooting for you!
I am a TCU Student-Athlete (2010-2012 NCAA National Championship Women’s Rifle Team) and I have limited experience with the Greek Life at TCU, but I can assure you it’s a huge part of our campus. If you’re interested in Greek, you’d fit right in on campus. If you’re not, you can be just as happy as a GDI (God Damn Independent). Game days? Oh my, that’s my favorite. My boyfriend is an All-American Defensive Lineman for the TCU Horned Frogs and I live and breathe football. I’m not the only one though! Football is a Texas tradition and the Purple & White will get in your bloodstream. We’re proud to be purple no matter what day it is, but football season is our time to shine on the big screen! Last, but not least, Fort Worth is a wonderful city to call home. There is something for everyone and you’ll find so many things to float your own little boat. You’ll meet a great group of friends and Fort Worth will be more than happy to be your playground for this time in your life!
Whoowee! Hopefully that answers everything! :)
I hope you decide to come join us and become part of the Frog Family. We would LOVE to have you!
